Tomorrow, May 31st, will be my first public showing of my work. I’ll be having an informal gathering of friends, family, and who-knows from 6 to 8 pm here in Monmouth, Oregon.
Suffice to say, I’m scared as hell. Of course I’ve showed my work to many, sold some, and currently have pieces on display where I’ll be holding the art show tomorrow. Mingling and talking to folks isn’t the issue, but being there while they examine it is.
Also, I’d like to shout out a big thank you to my family and friends who have supported me throughout the past six months. Without the said support and overflowing encouragement and kindness, I wouldn’t be here. Thanks to all my facebook friends, too, as they’ve had to put up with all my art posts
.
Well, wish me luck, happy thoughts, and prayers if you’re the praying type. Thank you.
Good luck with the show. I bet it will be great.
Thanks!
Thank you, Laurie.
