Woman and Wine…

Here is a seductive piece of a young woman enjoying a glass of red. I like this one, and have been wanting to do something like this for some time. This piece and one more, will be a two piece set I’ll be bringing down to a local wine bar.
The majority of it is completed, but I will need to let the oils set tonight before adding another layer tomorrow. The background needs to be a wee darker in tone, and her face needs some more highlights.
I also like the mystery of this piece, as she is drinking alone with a bottle and empty glass in the background as if she is waiting for someone.
11×14 on board. Oil Pastels, ink, and acrylics.
